Lancashire Junior League - Note from Gabrielle Towell

A reminder that there is no restriction on how many teams you can enter in each age group although please ensure you don’t overstretch your resources and that you will be able to honour all your fixtures – i.e. enough players, coaches, umpires!!! For example last year some Clubs entered their U13 Team in the U14 age group but you can also combine two age groups to form one team (providing each player does not exceed the age limit i.e. must be under the relevant age at midnight 31.8.10).

Players will need to register for the team they will be playing for during the season (September to December inclusive) and will need to be affiliated. Full rules will be provided on entry but if you have any queries prior to that please let me know.

This League is also a fantastic opportunity to develop umpires within your Club/School as Pauline Samson will be mentoring umpires on games in the League and to promote this ALL Teams will need to nominate an individual for this programme.
